Buttons for Cleaners originates from Behind the Buttons NV, founded by Leander Naessens. A first digital solution that simplified administrative processes.

2014 — First SaaS product

Launch of the first cloud product: digital planning, work orders and follow-up in one system.

2016 — Flexible planning

Introduction of Flex: advanced features such as flex planning and HR automation for small and medium-sized businesses.

2017 — Mobile First

Mobile apps for employees and supervisors. With NFC-Site Tags, time registration and location confirmation became fully digital. Foundation for CheckInCheckOut.

2020–2021 — Growth and professionalization

Expansion with automation, integrations and advanced HR features. Market leader in Flanders, growing presence in Wallonia and Brussels.

2022 — Joining FacilityApps

Acquisition by FacilityApps. One complete digital ecosystem with modules for calculation, tasks, quality measurements, VR training and Business Intelligence.

2024 — CheckInCheckOut

Launch of CheckInCheckOut - full compliance via CIAO for time registration and location confirmation.

2025 — PEPPOL e-Invoicing

Launch of integrated e-invoicing (PEPPOL) in the invoicing module according to European standards.
